(Tour/tasting approx. $40 pp).

Quintessa Winery: In broad terms, Quintessa is a red meritage wine. Each year, it is a blend that can include some or all of the five varietals grown on the estate: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Carmenere. The vineyard's diversity provides the winery with wide stylistic options for the wine. Pests are managed through the use of organic materials, cover crops and other innovative practices, and only when required. From it's very inception, the vineyard has been maintained with a strict criteria of care for the soil and the environment. It is a very special feeling to know that at Quintessa, there was never any other kind of grape growing. Tasting: approx. $75 pp. Private tasting (pre-book required): approx. $125 pp.
